Lunch between procrastination

Food:  Cheese and Spinach pide
Cost: $7 - from the university food court.
Main Ingredients: Cheese, spinach, bread
Commentary:
Despite going into university during the mid-semester break to get some studying done, no work was done - procrastination gets the best of me.
Between my 'study sessions', I grabbed a pide for lunch at the university food court. Even though I don't find it all that much filling for what it's worth, it's still a frequent choice that I make. Why? Well, being cut into smaller proportions as you can see in the image, this allows me to munch on these one by one while I write and revise notes in the food court.

So, if you're after a snack on the campus, nothing too filling, a pide is the way to go. But keep in mind, it's not too cheap. It also comes in other flavours, such as beef and cheese; and chicken and mushroom.

29 September 2011 - A good breakfast for once.

Food: Bacon sandwich, Packham Pear and a chocolate drink
Cost: $0; it was made at home.
Main ingredients: bacon, bread, and mayonnaise for the sandwich.
Commentary:
It is still mid-semester break, but today I'm in campus for extra-curricular activities. Being a university student, time is of the essence for everything even if it's just extra-curricular, which means I had this meal while driving to uni.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so university students like me shouldn't be going without it. Here's my example of a rushed but still slightly healthy breakfast that can be eaten on the go.

Story board/ layout

Here is a photo of the roughly-sketched "storyboard" of our blog. The main idea is that each meal will be featured in a photograph and will be set in a "profile"-like layout, with details on the side. Of course, this is work in progress and the end result of the layout may be different from this initial plan; there is also the possibility of formulating a newer layout.

The Cheese Sandwich (test/first post)

Cheese Sandwich
Cost: $free (it was made at home)
Main ingredients: bun and cheese

This meal is possibly one of the most effortless... not to mention hardly filling. It's like hardly eating anything. Just grab a bun and stick a slice of cheese in it. This is great for students who both have no money or time. Or even space in their bags.

Also good for students who have no time for long breaks and because it's so small, it allows students to keep their other hand on the pen and continue to work on that assignment due in 15 minutes.
